アメリカの大学生のダンサーKanamsです！
留学歴は約6年。
一年のほとんどをアメリカで過ごしています。

焼酎はだいぶ初心者ですが、これを通していろいろ勉強して、
焼酎をマスターしたいと思います！：）

普段、好きで飲むのは梅酒。
とりあえず甘いのが好きです^_−☆
最近は21になったので、(アメリカの飲酒可能年齢は21歳に制定されています。お店では厳しいIDチェックがあります。)
パーティーデビューし、パーティに行くことが増えたので、いろんなお酒を飲んでます(^-^)

先月母がアメリカに遊びに来たときに、近場の酒屋さんで、
麦焼酎を見つけて買ってもらいました。
焼酎は、なんかの規制で酒屋さんに置くのが難しいそう。
（これについては調べて次のブログで書きます笑）
この焼酎はウォッカのセクションに置いてありました。
カロリーがウォッカの半分らしい。ダンサーで体形重視のあたしには嬉しい＾＾

My name is Kanams and I’m a dance major at a university in the US.
I’ve been studying abroad in North America for about six years. I spend most of my year in the States right now.

I don’t know a lot about Shochu since I just started drinking as I am just 21 years old, but through this project, I want to learn more about it and become an expert!:)

What I usually like drinking is Umeshu or Plum wine, and many of the sweet cocktails.
Since I turned 21 recently and the legal age in the States is 21, I have been going to more parties, and drinking more variety of drinks.

In April, my mother came to see our dance performance, we went to the liquor store and found Shochu, and she bought it for me so I can try it.
Apparently there are some kind of restrictions for selling Shochu in the States. I don’t really know what exactly that restriction is, but its harder to have them at liquor stores. I’ll research into it and write about it later.
The Shochu we found was in put in the Vodka section. Apparently this Shochu is a half calories of vodka lol Very nice for a lady like me who doesn’t want to gain weight by drinking a lot lol

あんまり癖がなくて飲みやすい感じでした。
お酒が好きな大学の友達に飲ませたら、
｢なんだこれ喉が焼けない！超危ない！｣
ってテンション上がってました笑
これ飲んだあたしの友達はみんな気に入ってました。

なので
友達の家であったEnd of School Partyに早速新しいボトルを持っていきました。
みんなお酒すごい飲むので新しいボトル笑

This Shochu from “TYKU” was very mild and smooth and it was tasty with any mixer I tried. When my friends came over to my place and they found the bottle of Shochu, they said they wanted to try so I let them have a sip, and they were like “This is sooooo smooth omg wow. This is so dangerous!!” and got super excited lol
Since it seemed like they liked it, I brought a new bottle of it to the End of School Party we had at one of our friends’ house.

そしたら、飲んだことがある友達が
周りに｢これすごい強いのにまったくアルコールの味しないんだよ！危ないんだよ！｣
って勧め始めて
他にもテキーラ、シャンパン、ウォッカ、ワインなどいろいろある中、
あっという間にボトルが空きました笑

みんなこの焼酎を
コーラか、Spriteで割って飲んでました。
ちなみに、
こっちではコーラとSpriteはホームパーティーで一番ポピュラーなミキサーです＾＾

みんなすごい焼酎気に入ったらしい。
どこで買ったのって聞かれたので教えておきました。

これからパーティーで必需品になりそうです笑

And then my friends who have tried this Shochu before recommended it to everybody at the party and it got empty super fast lol
Everybody mixed it with Coke or Sprite, the two of the most popular mixers at parties at home.
Everybody liked this Shochu, many of them asked me where I got it. This Shochu might be a must-buy alcohol at parties!
